Taiwan’s Indigenous cultures are rich and diverse—their art, ways of life, and values form an irreplaceable part of our identity. My mother is Amis, and this heritage is something I deeply cherish.
For a long time, Taiwan looked outward and overlooked its own cultural strength. But these roots are exactly what we should take pride in.
Understanding and valuing our traditions builds true cultural confidence. Great art always begins with knowing who we are and staying faithful to the culture that shaped us.

臺灣原住民文化豐富多元，包括藝術、生活方式和價值觀，都是珍貴的無形資產。我的母親有阿美族血統，這是我們應該引以為傲的文化遺產。過去，台灣曾經迷思於崇洋媚外，低估了自身文化的價值。然而，這些文化正是我們應該驕傲的根源。認識並珍惜自己的文化傳統，對於建立文化自信至關重要。真正偉大的藝術源於對自我和文化的深刻理解與忠誠。
